XLOCK 60 Invisible RFID Lock
The XLOCK 60 Invisible RFID Lock is a concealed electronic locker lock designed for projects where a clean, uninterrupted door face is important.
Installed completely behind the locker or cabinet door, the lock remains hidden from view, leaving no keypad, lock body, handle or other hardware protruding from the door face. The result is a smooth, minimalist finish ideally suited to premium workplace lockers, end-of-trip facilities, offices, education environments and architectural joinery.
Unlike many smart locking systems, the XLOCK 60 does not require an app, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, internet connection or third-party cloud platform. Access is controlled purely by RFID, providing a simple and dependable standalone locking solution.
Completely Hidden Locking
The XLOCK 60 is installed behind the door, allowing the RFID credential to be presented through the door surface to release the lock.
This makes it an excellent option where appearance is a priority, particularly with laminate, timber and other suitable locker or joinery door materials.
With no visible lock hardware, the locker door maintains a clean and streamlined appearance.
Standalone RFID Access
The XLOCK 60 operates as a dedicated RFID locking system.
There is:

Simply present an authorised RFID card or credential to the designated area of the door to operate the lock.
Private or Public Mode
The XLOCK 60 can be configured for either Private Mode or Public Mode, allowing it to suit different locker applications.
Private Mode is the most common configuration for this lock. A specific RFID credential is assigned to a particular locker, making it ideal for staff lockers, permanent storage, offices and other assigned-user applications.
When the authorised RFID credential is presented, the lock releases and the door can automatically spring open when the locker is configured with the appropriate door hardware.
Public Mode can also be configured for shared or temporary-use lockers, where a user selects an available locker and uses their RFID credential to secure and later reopen it.
Because of the concealed locking design and spring-open operation commonly used with the XLOCK 60, Private Mode is generally the preferred configuration.
RFID Reading Through the Door
The concealed RFID antenna is designed to read compatible RFID credentials through suitable door materials.
Typical reading distances using EM4102 credentials can reach approximately:
- Up to 35 mm with RFID cards
- Up to 30 mm with RFID key fobs
Actual reading distance will depend on the door material, door thickness and RFID credential being used.
For applications where the door construction reduces RFID reading performance, alternative antenna configurations are available.
