XLOCK SB50 Smart Digital Storage Box

The XLOCK SB50 Smart Digital Storage Box is a secure, weather-resistant electronic storage solution designed for controlled access to keys, access cards and other small valuables.

Combining a rugged steel construction with multiple modern access methods, the SB50 can be opened using a PIN code, RFID card or tag, fingerprint, or Bluetooth-enabled smartphone. This makes it ideal for workplaces, commercial facilities, property management, service access, equipment rooms and other environments where secure, flexible access to keys or credentials is required.

With an IP65 rating and a wide operating temperature range, the SB50 can be installed in both indoor and suitable outdoor environments when correctly installed.

Multiple Ways to Access

The XLOCK SB50 provides a flexible range of authentication methods, allowing the system to be configured around different users and applications.

The integrated RFID reader supports MIFARE Classic®, MIFARE DESFire® and ISO 14443A-compatible credentials.

Bluetooth App Management

The SB50 can be managed using the XL Lock Manager App, available for compatible iOS and Android devices.

Administrators can configure users, access credentials and lock settings without requiring traditional physical key management.

The storage box also incorporates a door status sensor, allowing the lock status to be viewed through the system.

Optional Remote Management

For applications requiring remote access and management, the XLOCK SB50 can be connected to an optional XLOCK Gateway.

The Gateway connects the lock to the network and communicates with the SB50 via Bluetooth, enabling authorised administrators to remotely manage settings and unlock the storage box without needing to be physically beside it.

The Gateway is available separately.

A removable shackle and wall-mounting hardware provide additional flexibility when determining how and where the storage box is installed.

Emergency Access

The XLOCK SB50 incorporates multiple backup access methods to help maintain operation if the batteries become depleted.

A USB-C emergency power connection allows temporary external power to be supplied to the unit, while two mechanical emergency keys provide an additional physical override method.
